Talbots Women's Scholarship Fund

Description:

This scholarship is open to women currently residing in the United States who have earned a high school diploma or GED on or before September 1998, who are enrolled or are planning to enroll in a full or part-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited 2 or 4 year college, university, or vocational-technical school, be attending school for the full 2008-2009 Academic Year and receiving a degree no earlier than May 2009 (students who have previously obtained a bachelor's degree are not eligible to apply) and have at least two semesters (24 credit hours or more) remaining to complete their undergraduate degree as of the beginning of the Fall 2008 semester.

Award:

Up to 55 scholarships will be awarded in amounts ranging from $1,000 to $10,000.  Only the first 1,000 eligible applications received will be processed.

Deadline:

Completed applications must be postmarked no later than January 2, 2008.  Other materials to be submitted along with the completed application are an essay (explained within the application form) and a complete transcript of grades for each school attended since high school.  Send these materials to following address:
