National Federation For The Blind

Description:

This scholarship is open to legally blind individuals who are enrolled part-time of full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, demonstrate academic excellence, and show dedicated service to the community.

Award:

There will be 30 scholarships, each having a minimum value of $3,000, and a maximum of $10,000.

How to apply:

Applications for this scholarship can be picked up at the Financial Aid Office or at www.nfb.org.  In addition to the completed application form, applicants must also send a personal letter, two letters of recommendation, a current transcript (and transcripts from previous institutions), and a letter from a Federation state president or designee.  Please call (404) 371-1000 for more information.
