Marine Corp Scholarship Foundation |
Description: Applicants must be the sons or daughters of a Marine on active duty or in the reserves; of a former Marine or Marine Reservist who has received an Honorable Discharge, Medical Discharge, or who was killed in the service of the country; of an active duty, reserve, or former US Navy Corpsman who is serving, or has served, with the US Marine Corps. Applicants must also be either high school seniors or high school graduates currently enrolled as undergraduates in an accredited college or university, or currently enrolled in an accredited postsecondary vocational/technical school with a family income of $65,000 or less. Award: Award amount not known. How to apply: Applications can be downloaded from www.marine-scholars.org starting December 1 2007. For further information, you can call 1-800-292-7777. Deadline: All applications must be received by April 15, 2008 (and March 3, 2008 for graduating high school seniors).
