Henry Gemmill Memorial Scholarship |
Description: This scholarship is to assist residents of Franklin, Maine, in furthering their college education after they have completed at least one year of college or university study. Applicants must be legal residents of the town of Franklin in Hancock County, Maine. Award: There is one award of $500 available. How to apply: Applications for this scholarship can be picked up at the Financial Aid Office. Along with the application, the applicant must be legal resident of the town of Franklin, Maine, submit a recommendation from a counselor or professor at the college level, submit transcripts of high school and college academic records, be prepared for an interview by the Historical Society's Scholarship Committee, if requested, and submit a personal statement (described in the application).
