Candance Johnson Vinette Scholarship |
Description: Candance Johnson Vinette was employed as Associate Director of Financial Aid at the University of Maine at Farmington until her death in January, 1990. The Candance Johnson Vinette Scholarship Fund was established by UMF with memorial gifts from family and friends. The UMF Financial Aid Office will select a recipient who is a senior in a bachelor's degree program in the Fall 2008 term, has financial need (student must file a 2008-2009 Free Application for Federal Student Aid), has attended UMF for at least one year, is in good academic standing, had not earned a prior bachelor's degree, provides evidence of leadership and service to others, and is a Maine resident. Award: Award amount not stated. How to apply: Applications may be picked up in the UMF Financial Aid Office. Deadline: Completed application forms must be returned to the UMF Financial Aid Office by June 1, 2008. |
