Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship |
Description: Applicants must be a US citizen, be an undergraduate student in good standing at a US institution of higher education ( 2 or 4-year), currently receiving a Federal Pell Grant at the time of application, be applying or accepted into a semester or academic year long study abroad program eligible for credit by the applicant's home institution that is not in a country currently under a Travel Warning (or in Cuba) by the U.S. Department of State. Award: Awards of up to $5000 are available for qualifying Study Abroad programs. How to apply: All information and application materials are detailed and contained online at http://www.iie.org/gilman. Deadline: The deadline for Fall or Academic Year awards is April 15. Applications for Spring semester exchanges must be received by October 15.
