Pay Level I STATEMENT OF THE JOB: Employee does routine analysis in accordance with standard operating procedures. Work involves sample preparations, routine testing, and cleaning/sorting of laboratory material. Employee is expected to use little independent judgment. DUTIES: 1) Cleans and stores laboratory equipment. 2) Cleans laboratory facilities. 3) Prepares samples for analysis. 4) Does routine testing. 5) Operates basic laboratory equipment. 6) Assist instructor with miscellaneous tasks upon request. 7) Does simple research upon request. The statement above reflects the general duties considered necessary to describe the principle functions of the job and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all work requirements which may be inherent to the position. |
