Athletic Trainer Assistant II

STATEMENT OF THE JOB:

This position requires some proficiency or background in a particular field.  This proficiency is acquired from a significant amount of work or through educational experience.  Position requires successful completion of Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries course, First Aid and CPR certification, or by permission.

DUTIES:

Employee will perform tasks as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer to include but are not limited to:

1) Being present at all practices and home games

2) Training room management

3) Pre-practice and pre-event training room set up

4) Provide first aid at practices and games

5) Written and verbal communication with head athletic trainer
